About me

Twenty-five years of life experience later ...

""

I first came across the Alexander Technique at the age of ten when my elder sister came home from Music College enthusing about it. I considered training to be a teacher immediately after school, but was told by a wise old teacher to gain some life experience first.  Since then, I have worked in opera and music publishing, lived in the Netherlands and USA and raised two children. 25 years of life experience later, I trained at the Hampstead Alexander Centre with Robin Simmons and at the London Centre for Alexander Technique with Refia Sacks, qualifying in 2003.  I continue with professional development courses and regular exchange of work with other teachers.

As a full teaching member of The Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT), I adhere to their Code of Practice and hold indemnity insurance.
